Yoga has helped me to maintain a supple body and as a result, it has helped me to recover from a car accident in 2005 and ensure that I had a healthy pregnancy in 2008. In particular, I use the breathing when I am in a stressful situation. Focusing on my breathing helped me remain calm in the aftermath of my car accident when it took paramedics 30 minutes to cut me out of the car.
